Old Holy Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus

The Old Holy Monastery of Agios Dionysios on Olympus was destroyed in 1950, it was moved to Litochoro and is the Metochi of the new Monastery. Valuable relics and Holy Relics are preserved in Metohi, while the pilgrimage Church is open every Sunday. Holy Church of Agios Georgios

The Holy Church of Agios Georgios in Litochoro, built after 1600, is an excellent religious monument with a rich history. The Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios in Litochoro It existed from the first half of the 16th century. In 1760 it was built bigger and during the revolution of 1878 it was cannonaded and set on fire. It was then rebuilt and inaugurated in 1894. The annual feast of Saint Demetrius is celebrated on October 26.

The Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Litochoro is an important religious site with deep spiritual and historical roots. The Assumption of the Virgin Mary is one of the biggest and most important holidays in Orthodox Christianity. It is celebrated on August 15.

The Church of Agia Paraskevi in Litochoro rises above the ruins where the Litochori people built the new chapel. The opening ceremony of the church took place in 1911, a few months before the liberation of Litochoro. The feast of Agia Paraskevi is on July 24.

The small church of Agia Solomona

The chapel of Agia Solomona was originally a wooden church from 1504. It was used as a hidden school during the Turkish occupation. A sea turtle shell enhances his spiritual character. A historic preserved monument since 1992. The feast of Saint Solomon, on August 1st.

On his way from Pieria, Agios Kosmas could not ignore Litochoro, which was then a religious and national center. Church of the Holy Apostles

The Church of the Holy Apostles in Litochoro derives its existence from the faith and tradition of the local community. It was built after the liberation of Litochoro in 1913 and is an important part of the religious history of the region. The feast of the Holy Apostles is celebrated on June 30.

Church of Prophet Ilias (514m)

The Church of the Prophet Ilias in Litochoro is second after the sister church of the homonymous peak on the Plateau of the Muses. She is one of the few who directly face Mytikas.
